In January 2016, Dr. Hoskins opened the McCurtain Pet Clinic in Idabel, Oklahoma where she currently practices small animal medicine and surgery.

Dr. Hoskins is married and has four wonderful sons, as well as two cats one named Patrick and the other Francis including their dog named Goldie. She enjoys small-town life and feels blessed to be able to raise her family in beautiful McCurtain County. Her extracurricular activities include skiing, painting, gardening, and relaxing outdoors with her friends and family.

Alicia is Lead Certified Veterinary Assistant.

Alicia and her family live in Idabel, and they have a few pets of their own — a chihuahua named Tiny, who is 13 years old, Jingles, a 7 year old tuxedo cat., and Obi, and Xander the latest addition to the family.

Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, going to her kids’ games, supporting her church, working on small craft projects, and taking last minute road trips!

Of working at the clinic, Alicia says:

“I love my job at McCurtain Pet Clinic. I get the honor of meeting and greeting new clients and patients each day. My goal is to help patients to live a long, happy, and healthy life.”

McHaley  is  Lead 2 Certified Veterinary Assistant.

McHaley is a graduate of Idabel High School and Kiamichi Tech Center.
McHaley has grown up in Idabel all her life; living with her family and many animals. She has 4 dogs, 4 cats, 1 ferret, and 2 skunks.

One dog which really sticks out is Meelah, a very friendly, very energetic Corgi/mini aussie mix. Meelah is enjoying life to the fullest as well as being spoiled on a daily. The other dogs names are Shelby the eldest, Sheba, and Kuntry the youngest and most stubborn. The cats in order of age is Grey, Ace, Ronin, and Miles; the two skunks who live in the house with their own room to themselves go by Ozzy and Oreo. Lastly is our only ferret Oscar, who definitely likes to cause trouble whenever he is awake.

“Working at a Veterinary clinic helps me understand the connection between clients and their pets. Seeing all the different diagnoses and being able to be apart of helping to figure out a treatment is a treat in itself.”
