Dr. Tiffany L. Hoskins, DVMTiffany L. Hoskins, DVM

Dr. Hoskins grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Arts in 2001, and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine-DVM from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Hoskins is fully licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Texas and Oklahoma. She is a current member of the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association.

After graduating in 2010, Dr. Hoskins returned to Texas and practiced companion animal medicine in the Dallas-Metroplex area. In 2012, she moved to her current home in Idabel, Oklahoma where she provided relief veterinary services for many small animal practices. In January 2016, Dr. Hoskins opened the McCurtain Pet Clinic in Idabel, Oklahoma where she currently practices small animal medicine and surgery.

Dr. Hoskins is married and has four wonderful sons, as well as Francis the cat and including their dog named Goldie. She enjoys small-town life and feels blessed to be able to raise her family in beautiful McCurtain County. Her extracurricular activities include skiing, painting, gardening, and relaxing outdoors with her friends and family.

Alicia is Lead Certified Veterinary Assistant.

Alicia and her family live in Idabel, and they have a few pets of their own — a chihuahua named Tiny, who is 15 years old, Jingles, a 9 year old tuxedo cat., and Meeko a 4 year old very vibrant and energetic kitty, and Caesar the latest addition to the family.

Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, going to her kids’ games, supporting her church, working on small craft projects, and taking last minute road trips!

Of working at the clinic, Alicia says:

“I love my job at McCurtain Pet Clinic. I get the honor of meeting and greeting new clients and patients each day. My goal is to help patients to live a long, happy, and healthy life.”

McHaley  is  Lead 2 Certified Veterinary Assistant.

McHaley has always had a fondness for animals and how they see the world. Getting to work at a vet facility opens the eyes of just how much those animals rely on the people that care for them. Making sure they are given the right nutrition and what to stay away from and keeping them updated on prevention so that those pets don’t have to suffer in pain.

She has 2 corgis that basically run her life when not at work a male 1 year old named Memphis Hayes( 1st pic).  There is also a 6 year old Meelah Raye who is the sweetest girl you could ever meet (2nd pic).

“Working at a Veterinary clinic helps me understand the connection between clients and their pets. Seeing all the different diagnoses and being able to be apart of helping to figure out a treatment is a treat in itself.”

Heather – Certified Veterinary Nurse Level 2

Heather and her family have lived in McCurtain County for most of their lives. With 4 children and 9 plus grandbabies her days are always a go, go, go.

Her sympathy for those around her excel all others, between the love she has for the animals she works to care for and the lives and emotions she alters with her words. Working here gives sense of meaning and a feeling of understanding between clients and their pets.

Heather has her yorkies and her cat Rufus to keep her company when the humans are too much.

Misti – Certified Veterinary Nurse Level 3
Misti grew up in Canton, Texas and lived in the Dallas area until she got married in 2020 and moved to McCurtain County. She has a young daughter and 4 dogs one yorkie named Panzer, another yorkie named Sig, as well as a golden retriever named JoJo, with the newest addition of Kimber a young bully. Misti enjoys spending time with her family, reading and teaching her daughter new things. While the dogs love to sleep in the same bed, play with all of JoJo’s toys and bring light into their lives at home.

I love my job at the clinic and enjoy getting acquainted with different animals and people. I believe animals, like people, have their own unique personalities and I enjoy getting to know them on a professional and personal level.

Sandra – Veterinary Assistant

Sandra currently has a bachelor’s degree from OSU. She is planning to continue education in veterinary medicine. In the mean time she is planning to stay with McCurtain Pet Clinic to gain experience and help where ever she is needed at the facility.

She has two pets, a chihuahua named Trouble who lives up to his name and a calico named Daisy Luz who has had her fair share or mishaps (is missing a toe and allergic to her teeth) but is still very loved.
